The Application Process

Our application process can vary depending on the position, responsibilities, and timeline, but it generally includes four main stages:

1) Screening

Thank you for your application – you’ve taken the first step towards a career at Chugai in Europe!
We’ll let you know that your application has been received and that our HR team are reviewing your details against the job opening. In some cases, you may also be asked to share some pre-recorded answers to a few questions or to have a short telephone call. Either way, we will try to give you an answer on next steps within seven working days.

2) Interview

Our team have reviewed your application and all agreed that they’d love to know more…
This first interview is a chance for us to understand more about your experience and motivations, as well as for you to get to know us and the role. We normally allow 60 to 75 minutes for the discussion, and are flexible on speaking remotely or in-person. You will have the opportunity to speak to the HR and hiring teams, so come prepared with questions for both!

3) Assessment Centre

We’ve all left the interview confident we are a good match – you’ll now be invited to an assessment centre.
Together with other candidates, this will involve a day at the UK office taking part in interviews and practical exercises that reflect the role’s responsibilities. These help us learn more on your strengths and problem-solving approach, and we hope you leave with an even better understanding of our work, our office, and what it would be like to work at Chugai in Europe.

4) Offer

Congratulations – we are delighted to offer you the position and hope you are as excited as we are to get started!
We’ll run through the details of the contract and agree on a start date so that you have all the details you need before you get started. Ahead of you joining us, we’ll be in touch with all the details of your induction plan so you know what to expect and feel as prepared as possible for this exciting new chapter!
