Chugai Pharma Europe Ltd (CPE) is Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s European Headquarters and the regional coordinator of our European commercial, medical and support activities. CPE is also the Research & Development (R&D) hub for Europe, with development and study management teams supporting Japan with European-based clinical programmes for Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. origin products. Meanwhile, regional innovation and partnering leads at CPE coordinate our scouting activities, identifying emerging trends and technologies, exploring co-development opportunities, and establishing co-beneficial European networks.
Chugai Pharma UK Ltd (CPU) was established in 1993 and manages Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s commercial and medical activities in the UK, with multi-disciplinary teams working across haemophilia and oncology. The team seek to form strong relationships with their customers, and our dedicated health solutions team explore the potential to work collaboratively with healthcare organisations to deliver improvements to patient care, including the use of digital solutions to support an omnichannel approach. The size of CPU makes it an agile partner for companies seeking to scale their business without expanding their workforce, and the team is set-up to support partnerships that could involve buying, licensing, or co-promoting medicines in our focus therapy areas.
